With Felix’s creative power and endless inspiration, the film brings you into the universe of pure Music, from electronic music to radio play, pop, concrete music, opera, and microphone experiments… Felix is the little Nemo of a new sleepless world of music and pure joy!

A word from Tënk

Felix in Wonderland is a mischievous portrait of two equally whimsical artists: electronic music composer Felix Kubin and filmmaker Marie Losier. Both are attuned to the real world, from which they draw their material and render it enchanted in their respective arts. Felix waves his microphone around - in search of the musical in noise - just as Marie waves her camera around. They don't hesitate to give a dull reality a helping hand, using staging and experimentation to find beauty, creating a dissonant world in between. The film, then, is a shared space in which Felix, with the help of the filmmaker, can illustrate an imaginary world to which he devotes himself through music. But this playful portrait is also, above all, a window into the work and methods of a musician who is as eccentric as he is rigorous.
