Synopsis

One night, 7-year-old Zélie sees her young Aunt Clara arrive at the family home. Clara is sad, doesn’t leave the room and wears bandages on her wrists. Faced with the mystery of this closed door, Zélie realizes that all she has to do to get her aunt out of her melancholy is to help her dispel the clouds in her head…

A word from Tënk

The family is a beacon of solidarity: with parents who scold us as children, with distant relatives who don't share our values, with strangers who threaten the well-being of our loved ones. Family members can also take care of each other when tragedy strikes, or when life takes a turn for the worse. 47 pouces presents the complicity of Zélie and her aunt, who arrives at her brother's house wrapped in melancholy. The little girl tries her best to make her aunt smile, with her childlike gestures. A sensitive portrait of a person with mental health problems and her caring niece who wants to make a difference.
