ژن (Woman) is the first part of a trilogy that, from the perspective of the Iranian diaspora, engages with the feminist revolution in Iran. Through documentary media featuring female protesters in the streets, the film presents their civil disobedience as a collective performance, and probes the emerging discourse of woman, life and freedom.
